As a medical condition lymphedema and often lipedema have coverage for most surgical and non-surgical interventions including lymph node transfer and anastomosis. Non-surgical treatments, such as massage therapy, stockings and compression garments area also usually covered by insurance. Most insurance providers do not appreciate the complexity of lymphedema and lipedema.
We are in network providers for medicare. But, even though we do not participate as in-network providers with the remaining carriers, we do work with most insurance companies and use the out of network benefits to provide treatment options. Additionally, we work with several direct contracting accounts such as FLEX or HAS accounts, as well as accept credit cards and offer financing through different options such as Prosper lending.
